ABOUT ME
With over 20+ years of experience, Suzanne Beane Chanesman, founder of Beane Design, has successfully designed and art directed projects ranging from print, custom illustrations, magazine design, interactive multimedia and web design.
Throughout her design experience, Suzanne has prided herself in being creative and detail-oriented. The identity packages developed and designed by Suzanne included: logos, marketing materials, identity packages, including business cards, letterhead, and envelope, annual reports, corporate character development and presentations.
Adept at designing innovative Web-based solutions for clients, Suzanne has been deeply involved in concepting and producing interactive projects utilizing Adobe Flash, including dynamic corporate presentations and interactive quizzes.
Recently, Suzanne accepted the position of taking over the overall look and feel of Zoom Magazine—Autism Through Many Lenses as the Art Director.
Before founding Beane Design, Suzanne served as head of Commerce One's multi-media department. Prior to joining Commerce One, she had served as Creative Director at BDW Design in Detroit, overseeing and producing design projects for several high-profile automotive companies.
Suzanne earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree from the Savannah College of Art and Design. She has received countless Webby and Hot Site of the Day awards, and was a major participant on the first-place team during the "Masters of the Web" site design competition.
In her spare time, Suzanne pursues her interests in the fine arts, including but not limited to, photography, Lino-cut printing and painting. She also is a serious collector of PEZ along with her husband, Jeff.
